Describe 3 ways people deal with failure.
“If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” – Henry Ford
1. People take some time to contemplate about ‘what really went wrong’ and start preparing all over again. This phase consists of taking a look at their strengths and weaknesses. They might want to work harder and make their strong areas even stronger and weak areas better than before so that they are able to perform better and not fail again.
2. They go and seek help from their peers who have already done the task successfully and make a 360 degree check on what new and better can be done to improve. The peers can help them improve their areas or even show them some ins and outs of taking the challenge again. This way they can go prepared and overcome the failure.
3. They should learn to accept their mistakes and not play the blame game on the situation, others or fate; thereby becoming responsible for themselves in the long run.
