behavior support plan

In a two- to three-page paper, respond to the following scenario:

Charlie is a three year-old boy from a single-parent family. His mother works full- time and often has to work late. Therefore, Charlie’s grandmother frequently picks Charlie up from child care. For the past few days, Charlie has been hitting and kicking other children in both the classroom and on the playground.

  • Define the classroom/playground rules and consequences for hitting and kicking other children. Also, describe how children are made aware of expectations regarding behavior.
  • Identify how you will approach Charlie’s mother or grandmother regarding this situation, and explain the rationale behind your approach.
  • Develop a positive behavior support plan for Charlie.

The paper must be two to three pages in length, in addition to the title and references page.  Use at least three sources, in addition to the text. Your paper must be formatted according to APA style.
