The final project for this course is the creation of an in-depth technology, media, and culture analysis blog that examines how technology and culture have changed with modern media.
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:
ï‚· Evaluate the impact of digital technology on the communication field
ï‚· Analyze the implications of new technology on social media culture and its influence on various audiences
ï‚· Develop a personal brand that effectively integrates appropriate media strategies and tools
ï‚· Articulate an ethical framework for the use of digital tools, technologies, and communication media
ï‚· Evaluate emerging business models of new media technologies for their efficacy in supporting various businesses and industry practices
Final Submission: The completed blog should include an analysis of technology, mass media, and culture changes as well as explain the benefits and limitations of technological developments in mass media and these developmentsâ€™ impact on culture. It should also include a plan for how to improve some of the technology or cultural limitations cited in the blog. It should be a complete, polished artifact containing all of the main elements of the final product. Because your blog will be accessible to your peers, it should reflect the incorporation of feedback gained from both the instructor and your peers throughout the course. This submission will be graded with the Final Product Rubric.
