1. Describe a time when you’ve seen one of the seven deadly flaws of carrots and sticks in action. What lessons might you and others learn from that experience? Have you seen instances when carrots and sticks have been effective?
2. Pink draws a distinction between “routine” work and “non-routine” work. How much of your own work is routine? How much is non-routine?
