My name is Latoria Johnson and I am writing to apply for the master’s degree program in early childhood education. Early childhood education is my passion. I have an associate’s degree in early childhood education from Daytona State College. I graduate in the spring of 2021 from Florida International University.
I have been working with young children since I have been in high school where I first studied early childhood education. I currently work as a preschool teacher for La Petite Academy. My ultimate career goal is to open my own childcare center and teach early childhood education as a professor. I want to share what I have learned to help others become aware of their full potential.
I feel as though the master’s program at Florida International University would be a great program for me. One of the things that I have loved about the university is its mission to commit high-quality teaching. Through my experience as a student, I have found this to be true. I am able to add my expertise in working with young children to the program.
