Your career plan paper should be 3 pages in length in addition to a title page and a reference page, according to APA Guidelines.
PART I: Career Goals

PART II: Developmental Needs

Degree: How will my degree help develop me to achieve my career goals?
Volunteerism: What volunteer opportunities have I participated in that have helped develop me as a professional? What can I seek out in the future to help me?
Professional Associations/Organizations, and Memberships: Do I currently or have I in the past belonged to any? What can I join in the future that can assist in my developing my needs?
What other resources such as trainings, certifications, social networking can I take advantage of to help develop me professionally?
