I am going to write a argumentative Essay which is talking about “Gun using and social safet”
right now I come up with an argument:
“The gun should be banned in the United State because prohibiting gun could drastically reduce the number of gun deaths.”
- Who is your audiences?
US citizens, those people who consider about the gun security issues.
US police department, police who are confronting criminals.
The hunters in wild place.
Shooting range related staffs.
- How much does your audience know or care about your issue?
Gun violence has always been one of the top concerns of the American people
- What is your audience’s current attitude toward your issue?
Protection tops the list of reasons for owning a gun; Gun owners and non-owners have differing views on the severity of gun violence. 59% non-gun owners see gun violence as a very big problem in the country today, only a third of adults who own guns say the same.
- What will be your audience’s likely objections to your argument?
For most gun owners, owning a firearm is tied to their sense of personal freedom; Illegally gun owners are still a serious issue comparing with legally obtaining guns.
5.What values, beliefs, or assumptions about the world do you and your audience share?
“no gun means no deathsâ€
what I need you to do is help me to write an outline of this essay which based on I wrote above
I will attach two outline examples below(these two examples didnt have work cited but you have to find the 5 source for the outline you wrote)
Outline & Work cited requirement:
In a bullet-point format Word doc/x, introduce AT LEAST 5 claims that support your thesis and 3 opposing claims you might use in your argument.
Include a preliminary list of at least 5 sources you plan to use as support in your argument. List your sources as a “Works Cited†appendix. You may use MLA or APA format. Whichever you choose, be consistent throughout your draft writing process.
BE CLEAR. BE CONCISE. DON’T USE FILLER FLUFF NONSENSE WORDS. Turnitin is also enabled to help you determine if you have plagiarized.
REMEMBER THAT YOU NEED A MIX OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SOURCES. At this stage, you don’t need primary sources but if you know that you’ll be conducting an interview or a poll, you may list that and act as-if.
(See the outline examples under the “Final Project Information” module for reference – but remember that these are just examples meant to help guide you, there are not templates. Don’t force yourself to create a one-to-one.)
