Read the article titled “IT Project Failure Rates: Facts and Reasons” located in the online course shell, or click here to view it on the web. Then, respond to the following in not more than 250 words:
- Identify an IT system development failure that occurred within the last 2 years. Do not repeat an example from earlier in the course or one that has been posted by another student.
- Analyze which lapses in the system development life cycle (SDLC) led to the failure.
- How might the organization have avoided these pitfalls?
