Our class is almost over. Before it ends, I want you and the rest of the class to take a moment to step back and look at the relationship between all of the areas of Human Resources we have addressed in class so far. Consider what occurs when even one area (e.g., selection, training, evaluation) is not properly addressed using evidence-based methods. For example, if the best employees are not hired due to bias, training becomes much more difficult. If the best people are hired but training is lacking, then they may quickly get frustrated and quickly leave, or they may never reach their fullest potential and eventually leave. This is why both talent and performance management are important. I addressed this to some degree during the Keiser Live session. Make sure to watch my presentation.
