Consider a difficult person you have had to deal with in the past. Someone you’ve worked with? Another student? Write down the person’s behaviors that you found challenging or difficult. Consider the strategies that you used to deal with this person. What worked? What didn’t work? What could you do differently to work more effectively with this person? Now, think about what you would do if you are a manager and this person is your subordinate. Write down the steps you could take to effectively manage this person and also limit the negative impact of this person’s behavior on other employees
