Critical Thinking Spending on digital marketing has trended upward in recent years, and with so many individuals using the Internet for extended periods of time, it is easy to understand why. Some organi-zations spend more than half of their budget on digital marketing. How do you think they justify committing such substantial amounts of money to digital efforts? Do you believe that more companies should invest primarily in digital marketing? What groups or factors would indicate to you that digital marketing does not make sense as an investment? Many of these companies have not decreased their budgets for other media advertising in order to increase digital marketing; they have simply increased their total marketing budgets. Does this make sense to you? Why or why not?
