Read the scientific journal paper you selected from the above journals and write a critical review report. To receive a full grade for this assignment, the following expectations should be met in your report:
- The report should be maximum two pages
- The report contents should include:
(a) A summary of what is the problem the paper is trying to solve/investigate; what methodology is used to solve/investigate the problem; what are the results and conclusions. (2.5 points)
(b) A summary of the strengths of the article; i.e. novelty of the ideas, clarity of presentation and pedagogy etc. (2.5 points)
(c) A summary of the deficiencies of the study; i.e. what are the things the author overlooked, not include, not follow, ambiguity etc. Use your own engineering judgment to critique in a polite
and scientific manner. (2.5 points)
(d) A paragraph or two demonstrating your own reflections on the article in view of your understanding of Thermodynamics (2.5 points)
